LDE GMD Research Fellowships
LDE GMD Research fellows are people employed or studying at the universities of Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) who are interested in establishing a working collaboration with the LDE Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD) Centre. The requirements to be an LDE GMD Research Fellow are being academic staff at the Universities of Leiden, Delft, and Erasmus and having a desire to contribute to the development of the LDE GMD Centre either in its research, educational and outreach purposes.
LDE GMD Research Fellowships are meant to provide an opportunity for researchers and doctoral students who are working in areas of interest to the GMD Centre educational, research and outreach programme, to contribute to its activities, support the dissemination of its work and raise the status of the Centre as a knowledge hub on migration and diversity.
LDE GMD Research Fellowships remain beneficial to both the Centre and the Fellows, providing an opportunity for Research Fellows to engage with joint LDE initiatives, leading to the creation of a shared culture and setting the basis for possible future collaborations. Research Fellows will benefit from becoming part of a growing network of researchers on migration and diversity in Leiden, Delft, and Erasmus, receiving information of possible funding opportunities, including possible collaborative teaching and research proposals. Research Fellows use the LDE GMD as a platform to disseminate information of research and academic output, events, vacancies, and initiatives that are relevant to the Centre’s audience.
Research Fellowships are usually held for two academic years and can be renewed if the eligibility criteria.
LDE GMD Research Associateships
Research Associates are people affiliated to Leiden-Delft-Erasmus (LDE) academics who are interested in establishing an official relation with the LDE Governance of Migration and Diversity (GMD) Centre. The requirements to be an LDE GMD Research Associates are to have an existing or emerging collaboration with an LDE GMD academic on a joint LDE initiatives, such as an existing research project or an emerging research proposal; and to have the desire to contribute to the development of the LDE GMD Centre either in its research, educational and outreach purposes.
LDE GMD Research Associateships are beneficial to both the Centre and the Research Associates, and aim strengthen collaborations with academic partners, leading to the formation of solid relations and setting the basis for possible future collaborations in joint articles, projects, and high-level events.
Research Associates will benefit from becoming part of a growing network of researchers on migration and diversity in Leiden, Delft and Erasmus, receiving information of possible funding opportunities, including possible collaborative teaching and research proposals.
