Peter Rodrigues is a Professor of Immigration Law at the University of Leiden.
From 2001 till 2010 he was head of the department Research and Documentation at the Anne Frank House (Amsterdam). Peter Rodrigues has published widely on migration, statelessness, discrimination on the grounds of race and nationality, equal treatment in civil law relations, and group actions.
His publications include his 1997 doctoral thesis (in Dutch) Discrimination of consumers on the grounds of race and nationality (Leleystad: Vermande) and Non-Discrimination Law: Comparative Perspectives, Titia Loenen and Peter Rodrigues (ed.), The Hague/London/Boston: Martinus Nijhoff Publishers / Kluwer Law International 1999. Rodrigues is co-editor of Safeguarding Children’s Rights in Immigration Law, Mark Klaassen, Ton Liefaard, Stephanie Rap & Peter Rodrigues (Eds.), Intersentia: Antwerp 2019 and Monitoring Children’s Rights in the Netherlands, 30 years of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Ton Liefaard, Stephanie Rap & Peter Rodrigues (Eds.), Leiden University Press: Leiden 2019. From April 1995 till September 2000 he was appointed as a Commissioner of the Dutch Equal Treatment Commission.
