Assistant Professor of Transnational Migration and Social Inequality at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Maastricht University Having six years of experience as a researcher and four years of experience as a programme manager in Indonesia and The Netherlands, I have an aptitude for working with diverse groups of people in various international settings. My work is informed by a range of qualitative methods, with a focus on Critical Discourse Analysis and ethnographic approaches to doing research. I recently completed my research that explores policy and media discourses, and people’s narratives of identity and emotions within the nexus of migration and development.
