Dr. Nanneke Winters

Nanneke is Assistant Professor at the ISS and focuses on families’ cross-border labour and care work; migrant trajectories and illegalization; and the interplay between displacement and emplacement. Theoretically and methodologically, Nanneke builds on anthropology, feminist geography, and critical development studies. Nanneke teaches migration and methodology courses and will act as one of the LDE-GMD liaisons for the new Den Haag Zuid West scriptiewerkplaats/initiative.
