In an interesting NOS article, LDE GMD expert Reinout Kleinhans connects questions of demography and migration to housing. He asks: "Aren't we addicted to cheap labour? Migration is very difficult to steer, but letting the current situation run its course and saying that all kinds of companies and sectors can just attract migrant workers, which then require housing, is also ultimately unsustainable’’.
