GMD students Gabriela Anderson, Lea Maria Liekefedt, Sherry Ebrahim, and Christy Gamboa Bastarrachea attended the EUniWell Summer School in Florence "Researching migration and diversity in European cities' on 9-11 June. The Summer School, organised among others, by Nando Sigona, started as a Winter School with a series of sessions in January this year. A rather large number of GMD students took part in this lecture series, in which they had to present their research projects, and talk about future plans. Gabriela Anderson, Lea Maria Liekefedt, Sherry Ebrahim, and Christy Gamboa Bastarrachea were asked to join the closing session in Florence. It included two full days of conferencing with talks by very early scholars and reflections by more advanced researchers. It was really inspiring.
